Spring Flowers

This past Sunday my girlie asked if we could pick some bouquets of the narcissus blooming in the front. But of course! Off we went, each with a vase in our hands and shears for cutting.

I love this time of year! The birds were out singing praises to the early Spring sun while we snipped away. We found this bright green gentleman clinging to one of our stems and set him down in the lawn nearby.

We had fun searching for him in the green grass once we completed our bouquet arrangements. Sometimes its nice to be reminded of the simple joys of cutting flowers from your own yard with the warm sun on your back in the company of one of your favorite people in the whole wide world.
